Release history

This page lists official releases of the software distribution for various developer boards. Version numbers in bold text is or has been used as factory default.

Historically, each product has had its own software distribution but since the Developer Board/Device Server release 2.00 (released March 31st, 2005) all products use a single unified software distribution. The unified Developer Board/Device Server release consists of an install package and several distributed packages, i.e., the Linux kernel, applications and libraries. Read more about the install procedure in the Software distribution install howto.

For instruction on how to obtain the software distribution have a look at the Download page.

Unfortunately the version numbers have been unwisely selected which could be somewhat confusing.
