MQTT

Axis devices use MQTT to distribute data sources from the Fusion Tracker and Track Consolidation modules to cloud services, IoT platforms, and edge applications.

You can configure MQTT for scene metadata with the Analytics MQTT API. Its data sources match the released data sources, with an additional #channelID suffix that lets subscribers select a channel on devices with multiple channels.

Be aware that scene metadata topics may generate large amounts of data, especially when enabling object snapshots. Please make sure the MQTT broker can manage the load to avoid dropping data.
